Choose a link, WAV, MIDI, or recording
Save and share a music drawing without losing the useful part
Saving is not one feature here. A share link preserves the editable drawing; WAV preserves sound; MIDI preserves note events; a recording preserves a performance. Choose based on what the next person needs.
Use Share when the drawing should reopen
The Share button in the top navigation creates a URL for the current piece. On browsers with a system share sheet it opens that sheet; otherwise the site copies the URL. Test the pasted link in a fresh tab before sending it.
A shared link can reopen the piece in the instrument, so it is the best choice for remixing. Publishing is different: it submits a titled piece to the community gallery and should only be used for work you intend to show publicly.
Export WAV for listening and MIDI for editing notes
WAV downloads an audio rendering that plays in audio editors and media players, but it does not contain the original strokes. MIDI downloads note and timing data for compatible music software; it does not preserve the canvas picture or every instrument sound.
Browsers may place downloads in a Downloads folder without another prompt. On phones, the result may appear in Files or the browser's download list.
Record only when you need a performance file
The recording control is available in supported recording modes and captures a take for sharing or download. Availability and file-sharing choices depend on browser media support and the device share sheet.
Keep the share link as the editable source, and treat exported media as copies for listening or posting. This two-file habit prevents a finished WAV or video from being mistaken for an editable drawing.
